My Dreams Will Be Mine

You are not a part of my life

And you certainly shouldn't be a part of my dreams 

But how do I make you stop from coming in them 

I cannot make myself not sleep 

Because the nights are lonelier 

That's when I think of you the most 

I gaze at the sky and I remember 

We once looked at the moon together and promised to stay together forever 

But you broke the promise and broke my heart 

Now I cannot make you go away from my dreams 

Nor can I make this pain stop 

So I can either stop sleeping or kill myself 

But I won't do that because you are not worth it 

I gave you all my love and you dint deserve it 

I will find a way to move on 

Time will heal my wounds and mend my heart 

But the void you created will always stay in my heart 

To remind me of what you did to me 

To save me from falling in love with the wrong one again 

And someday I won't be afraid of dreaming 

I won't be lonely at nights

The moon will be beautiful again 

For you will be out of my heart.. Forever!
